There are many forms of self-defense that provides users with a variety of strategies. The effectiveness of the product depends on if the user knowns how to use it and if it is ready to use at the time of assault. Most self-defense weapons are disguised as personal items, such as keychains, makeup, and pens. Also, these items are feasable, so that people without any experience could easily protect themselves. However, there are no guarantees that self-defense products/activities will keep someone safe.
Background Information
In history, women were always seen as inferior to men, which made sexual assault laws complex. Rape was once considered a crime against property, not a person. In addition, there was a time where sexual assault was only considered a crime against unmarried virgins. Currently, sexual assault is considered a crime to anyone: men, women, and children of any race. However, people refuse to report them because they fear their attacker. There are many forms of self-defence that provides users with a variety of strategies.
